Anyone who knows me knows the first thing I will tell people is “drink more water”. Have a headache? Tired? Bloated? Constantly hungry? Have naughty cravings? Feel distracted or groggy? Drink more water.

I have come up with 3 fun ways to keep yourself entertained during this dreaded scenario of life we call hydration. You can’t say it’s tasteless or boring anymore after this!

1. Count it! Find a water bottle that shows you how much you are drinking and set a goal for yourself! The standard I always tell clients first thing is to get a 1 liter bottle of water from the gas station (2$ max!) or one like this thats hows your ounces and drink at least 2-3 of them a day. That is if you never drink water, the goal is to get your body used to being hydrated and then work your way up to 1+ gallons. But don’t jump in too deep, start in the shallow section with 2 liters and next week, try for 3 and so on.

2. Flavor it! I got this infuser for Christmas which is pretty fancy, but you don’t necessarily need one. Just stick your favorite fruits and herbs in your cup and you’ve got flavored water! Here I have 1/2 lemon sliced and some fresh dill. You can also do parsley, basil, or other herbs you enjoy. As far as fruit, strawberries are also fantastic! Lemon is a staple for most, but berries in water are delicious as well!

3. Make it available! Fill a pitcher to keep chilled in your fridge. That way you don’t have to fill up at your sink every time. Not to mention this is a great way to hydrate your guests when they come over!
